Ain't That America
Ain’t That America is a series of books explores the Midwest. This project is a dissection of nostalgic design through a collection of memorabilia, ephemera, and landscape photos that questions whether Americana is only alive and relevant to middle America. By exploring the signage and design elements of rural towns, one can see how it has influenced modern design.
There are two volumes each oversize 10 inches high by 15 inches wide, spreading out into an enormous 30 inches. All photography, design, and research was conducted by myself.
